Back in June, Samuel's mom came to visit us for a week. She flew into Dulles International Airport, which gave Samuel and I a great excuse to get a hotel the night before she arrived and spend some time looking at all the monuments in downtown DC. I most enjoyed the many profound quotes by our forefathers that were engraved in them. Here are just a few:
Samuel got to see way more history that day than I did. I think I sat on a bench for about 1/3 of the day. You never know when exhaustion is going to hit you when you are pregnant.
